Throughout the Catholic church’s history, children have borne the brunt of much of the church's abuse. The dead baby lamb represents the killing of many children's innocence as they endure the abuse and sexual assault of those preaching the words of God. The bible page featured in the piece contains Psalm 137:9 which reads, ‘Happy shall he be that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones’.
